Catrice Hollywood Fabulous swatches

Catrice Hollywood Fabulous limited edition is one my favorite Catrice LE lately. When I first saw it I fell in love with blush but eyeshadow palettes also looked very nice. All these items were gift so everything except the blush was a surprise but with collection like this it is hard to miss.

Absolute Eye Color Hollywood Boulevard

Hollywood Boulevard is beautiful palette with four eyeshadows that can easily make nice natural look or if you want to it could work as more dramatic look for night time. There are two browns, highlight color and dark purple, two colors in first row are shimmery and other two are matte. All of them are pigmented, bigger eyeshadow contains 2,5 g while smaller contain 1.5 g.

Multicolor Blush Gone With The Wind

It is hard to go wrong with Catrice blush and this one is no exception. This one is matte and it is very pigmented and you don't need a lot of product for good result. Gone With The Wind contains 8.5 g and I believe I will have this one for years.

High Gloss Lip Top Coat & Gloss

I can't remember when was the last time I had transparent lip gloss :). This one can be used alone and of course in combination with other lip products. When I first applied it I was little bit sceptical because it feels a bit heavy on my lips but after few minutes it is like any other lip gloss. Good thing about this lip gloss is that it is not very sticky, it is a little bit but it is comfortable enough. Another thing I like that it is very shinny so a small amount of product is all you need. Lip gloss contains 4 ml of product.

Nail Lacquer Doris' Darling

Beautiful dark purple nail polish with matte finish, perfect for fall. It is thick a little bit so it will be little bit harder to apply. The bottle contains 10 ml.

Wishlist #1

When I was younger I always had my wishlist full of beauty products and fashion items. I can't remember when was the last time I put a wishlist on piece of paper but I decided that I could put it on my blog time to time. Hopefully I will be able to cross out some of these products from my list in the future...If not...well, at least I can dream a little :D

First is Urban Decay Naked palette and or Naked 2. I don't know which one I like better, I want them since I first saw them...I'm not sure that I will own either of them but that doesn't make me want them less.

Nyx Round Lipstick or Nyx makeup in general...but before I try eyeshadows or lip glosses I want to try lipsticks. Paris is one of few shades that caught my eye.

Bourjois Magic Nail polish remover, I've seen some awesome reviews about this thing and I really like it. I can't wait to try it!!

Givenchy Eaudemoiselle, I like most of Givenchy perfumes. This one is aaamazing!!

Sigma Mrs. Bunny, amazing kit. I have only one Sigma brush and it is one of my favorite brushes. Mrs Bunny kit would be all I would need...

Random #5

Tonight is Emmy Awards night, something I really like to watch especially what happens on red carpet but since I'm TV show freak I also like to see who got the awards. They just said that they will have mani cam, so it will be fun to see some celeb manis. While I'm watching red carpet on E! I have time to make one random post. I haven't done those in a while...First thing I want to to share with you is awesome gift that I got yesterday.  This is a little sneak peak for my few future posts.

Now, let's go on. Spanish movie Tres Metros Sobre El Cielo is aaaamazing, there is a sequel called Tengo Ganas De Ti which I can't wait to see! Have you seen it?

The last thing I want to show you is my and my niece's mani. She is six years old and she will do anything for a mani. On my nails I have Sinful Colors Boogie Nights and she has Sinful Colors Cream Pink with few stripes and harts.

Julep Helena

Julep Helena is one of three Julep nail polishes that I have for now.  Julep Helena is the most beautiful purple, but to me it was so hard to catch it with camera. I am giving you one photo. This one is the closest to the true color of Helena, all the other photos that I have look totally different then the reality. The difference from my photo and the real Helena color is that in reality Helena is little bit deeper. This is not the first time I tried to swatch Helen without luck, but here is the link where you can see how it really looks, plus you can see some dupes.
Anyway, Helena is beautiful nail polish. Gorgeous, shiny color maybe not the best for my skin tone but I don't even care. With color like this my nails can't be unnoticed. When I was looking for Julep polishes that I like for the swap this was the first one that I noticed, because even with bunch of colors around it this one just gets the attention.

Did you have a chance to try Julep nail polishes?

Elf haul: brushes, blush and lipstick

Recently I purchased some Elf products, I wanted to order few brushes but as always I ended up buying few more things. Here is a quick review with some pictures.

My main target was powder and stipple brush. I heard so many good things about Elf powder brush and I decided that it is time that I finally try it. Now that I have it I think it is a shame that I've been waiting for so long to get it. The brush is great, it applies foundation easily, it is soft and very dense. Definitely worth buying! I also bought new stipple brush. I already have one, which I really love. I mostly used it for foundation but even though it is very good for foundation it is much better for cream blush. Two that I have are just enough for me right now because I know I will use them a lot. Third brush that I purchased is the foundation brush from regular line. The reason I wanted this one is because this is a good brush that can always be around as a clean backup. This brush is also good, it does the job very nicely but between this one and powder brush, powder brush wins without a doubt.

Elf blush Glow is soft pink blush with golden shimmer. It looks very natural and it is great for everyday or subtle makeup look. The blush is little bit dusty but it lasts for hours, after I wore it few times I'm very happy with it.

Lipstick Sociable is my first lipstick from Elf. I didn't know what exactly I can't expect from it but now I can say that I'm not impressed. The color is very pretty but the formula...not my cup of tea. It is not easy to apply, it dries my lips and it is full of shimmer, which even though it looks pretty makes everything even worst.  This is definitely something I will put a side most of the time.

Preview: Catrice Big City Life San Francisco, Paris and Shanghai

In October and November 2012 Catrice will give us new limited edition called Big City Life. Last year there was limited edition with same name, it was inspired with Berlin, London, Sydney and New York. This year Catrice was inspired with San Francisco, Paris and Shanghai. Limited edition contains palette with six eyeshadows, 2 blushes, duo applicator and mini kajal. There is also a nail polish matching each palette. I like that there will be another Big City Life limited edition but I don't want to get excited about it because last year only Berlin and London came to Croatia and that was months after the date Catrice gave us. So, hopefully we will see these beautiful palettes but I'm not sure about that.
What do you think?

Polka dot nails

It seams that summer in Croatia is over but here is one summery manicure I had on my nails the other day.  I love dots everywhere and I like to do them on my nails too because it is so simple but always looks cute. This time I went with two colors: Essence BBC Splash Refresh and Catrice Sweets For My Sweets. I love both colors and I think they look really cool together. I prefer small polka dots, but this time I was using bigger nail dotting tool for a change.  I like how everything turn out mostly because because of the colors.
What do you think?
