January nail art challenge: Home Decor Inspired

The theme for today's challenge is Home Decor Inspired. I was inspired with zig zag pattern you can see everywhere these days...on carpets, pillows, curtains... I like the pattern but I also wanted to use my new stickers for the guide because I didn't tried them yet :) I used neutral colors because that is what you could see if you come to my house. I only wish my nails were longer and I could add another zig zag line.

November nail art challenge: Woodland

Today I have the last mani from November nail art challenge, I could do this probably a week ago but I was trying out some new polishes that I have and now I finally made the last theme for the challenge. The theme was Woodland. I love how it turned out. I only did an accent nail with the tree and I really like it. This also reminded me why I love nail art challenges so much...Beside nail art I get to use nail polishes that I didn't use for a long time. Like Essence The Only Chance! I can't remember last time I used it and it is such a beauty. Hopefully I will continue with challenges in January!

November nail art challenge: Leaves

Time for my 2nd mani for November challenge. I like the fall theme - leaves. I also love colors I used, which look better in real life as well as the whole manicure. When I look at my nails from normal distance they look really nice but closeup shows few flaws...However not so bad for my first ever leaves mani.

September nail art challenge: Illusion

Unlike the rest of the challenge I was quick with mani umber 7. I'm posting it right away because if I wait who knows when will I post it. After this one there is only what challenge theme left :)
Today's theme is Illusion. I decided to go with black and white and I'm happy with the way everything turned out. Hope you like it too :)

September nail art challenge: Stained Glass

Finally new post and new mani. I definitely have to hurry up with these manis because October is almost over and this is still September challenge. After one whole week of naked nails here is my last mani with new one in making, I just painted my nails and decided that is also time for new post. So the theme is Stained Glass. First I applied base color and I applied black lines. After that I filled with color in between the lines with different colors. Pretty easy manicure but great effect.

September nail art challenge: Tropical

Third theme for the nail art challenge is Tropical. With this mani it is so obvious that I'm so out of practice with nail art. However, here is what I did. I knew I want to draw palm tree on one nail for sure and I decided to draw palm leaves on other nails. They turn out really bad but I didn't want to remove it and try again. I went with pink and green, both look pretty tropical to me. I like how palm tree looks like but hopefully next mani will be better.

September nail art challenge: Gold

Second task for September Challenge was Gold. Again, I only did accent nail but I love how this mani turned out. Catrice Bronze - Deco is a beauty and this challenge reminded me on this polish and I think I should use it often. I did accent nail with black striper and I added some star studs. Hopefully I will have more time for my next mani and I will have nail art on every nail but I love these simple manis as well.

Five favorite fall lipsticks

Most of the time I call myself a pink girl. When it comes to lipsticks, lip gloss or nail polishes pink is usually my go to color and the color I have the most in my stash. During fall ( and winter ) I change it a little bit. Not that I don't use pink anymore but I often reach for other colors as well. Today let's talk about lipsticks. I looked forward to this fall because it is my favorite time of year to use purplicious shades. They are my favorite at this time of year. Except purple I like to wear red.

Here I have my five favorites. First I have two red shades. Oriflame Daring Red is my favorite red lipstick, the one I love to use when I dress up. It is a classic and always looks elegant. Next one is p2 Love Happens. This one is from Sheer Glam line and it is perfect for everyday looks. It is not too bold but it can make a statement. After reds here are my usual picks lately, purplicious lipsticks.  First one is L'oreal Glamor Fuchsia. Now this is another statement lipstick. When you have it on your lips you can't go unnoticed. You can do your makeup quickly and with Glamor Fuchsia on your lips it will look like you spend hours in front of a mirror. Next one is Golden Rose 113. This one can go as pink lipstick but it beautiful, unusual pink. I like to use it when I'm in pink mood and I want to wear bright lipstick Still, there is that hit of purple which makes me love it so much. Last one is Essence Wear Berries! which is really nice darker everyday color but it looks very good on evening makeup looks as well.

In the end if I have to choose only one from my five favorites that would be L'oreal Glamor Fuchsia. J'adore it!

Valentine's Day nail art

This year I am in Valentine's nail art mood. I'm all about red nail polish and hearts. I'm so glad that after I did 31 Day Nail Art Challenge for so long I'm not tired of nail art :) I have 3 different but very easy designs. Hope you like them ;)
