Makeup Revolution Redemtion Palette Essential Mattes

As soon as it came to the market Makeup Revolution Essential Mattes palette became very popular. It is not a surprise because at the time it was so hard to find affordable matte eyeshadow palettes. Now the situation is little bit better because Makeup Revolution alone has few more matte palettes as well as Catrice and some other brands. I own one and I'm very happy with it and I don't feel the need to get more. Essential Mattes palette contains 12 matte eyeshadows, they are neutral and perfect for any kind of use. Day or night.. you can use only this palette or combine them with shimmery eyeshadows. The choice is yours but it is great to have only matte shades in one place.

The package is good, the usual Makeup Revolution. Nothing special but all the eyeshadows are easy to reach and well protected. The colors in the palette are neutral so you have beige, brown and purple shades.There are four light shades, three of them are almost the same thing but the beauty of this palette for me is in other eight shades, they are the ones I use most of the time. With primer these eyeshadows last whole day.

The palette contains total 14 g of product.

Pretty good right? This is definitely a good buy, especially if you looking for good matte eyeshadows. I have bunch of neutral palettes and this could easily be in my top 3.

Makeup Revolution Iconic 2 eyeshadow palette

I am so bad at posting my swatches and reviews. I postpone them almost every day but today it is finally time for Makeup Revolution Iconic 2 eyeshadow palette. ( To check out my post about Iconic 3 click here. ) My MUR wishlist can get longer every day and it is all because I adore neutral palettes and MUR is is good at making them. Iconic 2 is as everybody knows dupe for UD Naked 2.

There are 12 shades in the palette, good quality and pigmentation eyeshadows. There are 8 shimmery and 4 mate eyeshadows which are great for everyday use and if neutral tones are your go to shadows this palette could be all you need. I said could because I can never get enough of neutral eyeshadows. These eyeshadows are easy to reach and easy to apply and with the base they last the whole day ( or night ).

The palette contains 14 g of product and it is definitely something I'm glad I purchased.

Makeup Revolution Iconic 3 eyeshadow palette

One of most popular brands these days is Makeup Revolution. As soon as I saw their products, especially their eyeshadow palettes few products went on my wishlist. There are so many palettes to choose from, there`s something for everybody but neutrals got my attention. MUR palettes are extremely popular because of very good quality, affordable price and they have duplicates for some popular and much more expensive products. First palette in my stash is called Iconic 3 and it is dupe for UD Naked 3 palette. I don` have both palettes to compare them myself but there are so many good comparisons around web which show that eyeshadows are pretty much identical.

The palette has simple plastic package and it is easy to work with it. It is easy to reach the eyeshadows with the brush and with your fingers. The palette contains 14 g.

Iconic 3 has 12 eyeshadows. They are neutral beige, rosy and brown shades. As you can see on the photos pigmentation is great. With base they last the hole day. It is easy to apply them, there are some fall outs but nothing major.

After all this is the product that deserves all the hype. It has beautiful, good quality shades. You can use them in so many ways and it is on budget.

New in - September 2014

In September I got few products that I wanted for a while. few that are products I use regularly and few randoms. I will dedicate a post for most of products I bought in September so this will be just a quick post.

I finally put my hands on Makeup Revolution. I got Iconic 2, Iconic 3 and Essential Mattes palettes and Frambroise Shake cream blush ( click ). I also got I Heart Makeup I Heart Chocolate palette.

Next I have two Loreal Elvital Color Glanc shampoo and Balea limited edition deo-bodyspray and soap. Both look adorable and smell really good.

Recently I discovered two web pages with great deals for fragrances. I develop a little addiction and I got myself Davidoff Cool Water 50 ml EDT ( from biraj.hr ) and Britney Spears Curious 100 ml EDT ( from fragrancedirect.co.uk ). I'm afraid I will not stop at these two :D

I also have new liquid foundation. Maybelline Fit 120, another great deal with 50% off made me buy this one. After I test it a bit more I will post my review.

In the end of this post I have Aveo Berry Bomb body lotion and two cute notebooks!

Makeup Revolution cream blush Frambroise Shake

Since Makeup Revolution is around I found so many products that I would like to have in my collection. You can probably guess that pallets are on that list but right beside them are cream blushers. There are four colors available and my pick was Frambroise Shake. I wanted something for everyday use that makes my cheeks look natural and refreshing. Frambroise Shake is exactly what I wanted.

The color is beautiful soft pink which looks really pretty. Color like this one is perfect for any time of year and that is what I like about it. The texture of the blush is cream, it is not greasily so I need to get into it with my brush ( I use stipple brush ) but it applies and blends easily. As you can see on the picture bellow pigmentation is very good and there is no shimmer.

The package is nothing special but it is practical and the product is protected. It contains 3,4 g. This blush definitely makes me want to check out more MUR blushers so hopefully there will be more in my collection.
