This week's TOP 3 #1

I decided to add new series to my blog - This week's top 3! This is going to be like a short version of favorites. I don't post favorites very often because I usually use the same products so I don't consider them interesting enough to write about them every month but every now and then I do find some products that I really love and this is the way to talk about them a bit. I will post my top 3 occasionally, whenever I find few products that amaze me or some new products I start to use on daily basis. Also I think this is a good way to mention some products one more time or give short review on some products I didn't write about. Hope you will enjoy these posts. 

This week I have a blush, lipstick and a lip balm.

Elf Glow is the blush that I have for long time and it is usually left a side, but every time I use it I remember how much I love it. I started using it again at Monday and I've been using it every single day since. It looks natural and very spring appropriate. I love, love, love it...this time I will probably use it for a longer period of time. To read more about Elf Glow click here.

MUA lipstick Shade 4 was among my favorite products for a while. When I first got it I was using it all the time, I just love the fact it is so subtle and that "my lips but better" effect. Few days ago I was going trough my stash and now I use it all the time once again. You can see the swatch if you click here.

Lush Honey Trap is one of my new products and I fell in love with it the when I first tried it. Beautiful smell, moisturizing, not greasy and takes care of my lips. This little pot contains 8 g of product and I believe it will last for a long time!

Eveline Art Scenice Silicone Make-up base - I tried this product recently for the first time, it is excellent. I tried it with Revlon Colorstay foundation and Catrice Infinite Matt foundation, it works great with both but result with Catrice foundation is amazing!!

Eveline Fruit Garden lip gloss - This thing smells so good, it is glossy and it's not sticky. Love it!

Alverde Dusch-Peeling - I love Alverde coconut and lotus peeling with  coconut scraps. Works very well and smells really nice too.

Golden Rose with protein - great nail polishes but more about them in next few days.

Elf haul: brushes, blush and lipstick

Recently I purchased some Elf products, I wanted to order few brushes but as always I ended up buying few more things. Here is a quick review with some pictures.

My main target was powder and stipple brush. I heard so many good things about Elf powder brush and I decided that it is time that I finally try it. Now that I have it I think it is a shame that I've been waiting for so long to get it. The brush is great, it applies foundation easily, it is soft and very dense. Definitely worth buying! I also bought new stipple brush. I already have one, which I really love. I mostly used it for foundation but even though it is very good for foundation it is much better for cream blush. Two that I have are just enough for me right now because I know I will use them a lot. Third brush that I purchased is the foundation brush from regular line. The reason I wanted this one is because this is a good brush that can always be around as a clean backup. This brush is also good, it does the job very nicely but between this one and powder brush, powder brush wins without a doubt.

Elf blush Glow is soft pink blush with golden shimmer. It looks very natural and it is great for everyday or subtle makeup look. The blush is little bit dusty but it lasts for hours, after I wore it few times I'm very happy with it.

Lipstick Sociable is my first lipstick from Elf. I didn't know what exactly I can't expect from it but now I can say that I'm not impressed. The color is very pretty but the formula...not my cup of tea. It is not easy to apply, it dries my lips and it is full of shimmer, which even though it looks pretty makes everything even worst.  This is definitely something I will put a side most of the time.

Summer favorites

The products I've been using the most this summer are not much different then my usual favorite products but since there's been some time since my last favorites post I decided to show you what was I loving this summer.

Schwarzkopf Gliss Kur Hair Repair Ultimate Repair - I was avoiding this product for very long time because I didn't liked how it smells. I'm still not a fan of the smell but despite of that this is great product! I definitely recommend it to anyone who was dry hair, split ends and trouble with brushing the hair.

Balea Young Summer Glow body lotion - Golden shimmer and tropical scent! I've been using this almost everyday this summer, mostly for my legs and arms. I bought this product during winter and sadly it is limited edition. I believe this is from last summer collection because I can't find it anywhere right now, there are some new similar products but nothing is like this :)

Balea Repair +  Pflege Anti Splits Serum - Small amount of this product makes my ends look much better.

Elf Warm palette - This is the palette I've been using the most this summer especially when I was on vacation. It has all the colors I like and all of them are on one place so everything is more simple with this palette. 

Catrice Ultimate Color Pinker-bell - One of my favorite lipsticks, I adore this color and I've been using it a lot.

Avon Sheer Pink - I have this lipstick for such a long time that I don't even know what is the full name of it. I have it for years and this was my go to lipstick for day time and many casual occasions.

China Glaze Summer Neons - I have five nail polishes from China Glaze Summer Neons collection and they were my absolute favorite nail polishes this summer. 

Essence Studio Nails 24/7 Base - My 2nd bottle of this nail polish and a product I will come back to for a very long time.

Elf Blush And Bronzer Compact and Catrice Revoltarie Blush Color Bomb - When it comes to blush these are almost only products I've been using. Both are amazing!

Essence Quattro Palette To Die For - Beside Elf palette I was using Essence To Die For. Anyone should this or something like this in their collection. This palette has all that you need for nice neutral look.

Essence Stay With Me Me&My Ice Cream - My favorite lip gloss, I will repurchase this product very soon.

L'oreal Voluminous Carbon Black mascara - The last but not the least is mascara. This is a great one, it is out there for a long time and it reminds me how much I used to love L'oreal mascaras. I should go back to them more often.

Essence 24 hand protection balm Vanilla Apple Pie and Neutrogena hand cream - I can't live without hand cream especially during winter, I love to use Essence and Neutrogena. They are both great but if your hands are really dry Neutrogena is a better choice!

E.l.f. Pro Mini Eyeshadow Palette Warm - I am using this palette since I got it and I love it!

Avon by Cynthia Rowley Rose Petals lip gloss - I have this one for years and it is almost gone, hopefully I will find something similar.

E.l.f. Stipple Brush and Pro Mini Eyeshadow Palette Warm

In December and January E.l.f. had great deals and sales ( some are still on ) on their web page and that was a great chance to get some of their products! I purchased stipple brush and Pro Mini Eyeshadow Palette 32 Warm.

Pro Mini Eyeshadow Palette 32 Warm

My first pick was 100 eyeshadow palette but when I had my order it was out of stock. I got 32 Warm instead and that is probably better for me because here I have colors that I will actually use, in 100 palette there is so many beautiful shades but I prefer neutral and Earth tones so this is better choice for me. In Pro Mini Eyeshadow Palette there are shades of peach, pink, purple, brown and grey and also white and yellow eyeshadow. Most of eyeshadows are shimmery but there are also matte eyeshadows. Most of the colors has good pigmentation and with eyeshadow base they last the hole day, there are few colors that are not pigmented at all, maybe 4-5 eyeshadows. The palette contains 32 eyeshadows, one double applicator and a mirror. It is not too big so it doesn't take much space and if you are traveling this is a great choice to take with you. You can see color range on the pictures above, in my opinion all the colors are great for everyday and I think that I will use all of them. Also, even though I still didn't try it I think that you can do a really good night look with it. The palette is currently on sale and the price at e.l.f. UK is 3,75£.

Stipple Brush

Reason why I wanted Stipple brush is cream blush and foundation. When the brush first arrived I wasn't very excited about it. The brush is fluffy, soft and there is no much fiber so I thought there is no way this could be any good. But after I used it few times I can say that it is not bad all. I don't have anything to compare it with, but I think that it can do the work well. When I applied foundation and cream blush with it there was no problem and I was very happy with the result. Of course if you have Sigma or Mac you don't need this one and you probably won't even like this one but for the price of 3,50 £ I think that this isn't a bad brush and it is worth to try it out.

Balea Body Cream - usually I prefer body lotions but time to time I like to use body cream and this one from Balea is amazing!

Balea Young shower gel - I love all the products from Balea Young shower gel line, they smell so good and all of them have cute packing...enough to be among my favorite products :)

Dove Original Anti-Perspirant Deodorant - my all time favorite deodorant, I've tried many different deodorants but this is the one I always come back to!

Intimately Yours Beckham - fragrance I've been using the most past two months, I loveee it!

Avon Neutral Tones palette- I have this palette for a long time but it wasn't among product I like to use...sometimes I even forget that I have it, but I decided to use it more often and now I really like it...I will post more pictures and swatches soon.

Look by Bipa blush brush and kabuki

Few weeks ago I went to Bipa drugstore, I don't go there very often but this time I decided to go and look around little bit. I was very happy when I saw Look by Bipa brushes. I saw their brushes all over internet but every time I went there everything was sold out. Now the shelf was almost empty but two brushes that I was hoping to find were there: blush brush and kabuki.

You can see on the pictures how pretty they look. I love them both and I use them all the time. Both kabuki and blush brush are really soft and application of blush and powder is easy with them. 

Before I bought Look by Bipa brush brush I desperately  needed a new one...so in a few days I purchased three blush brushes. Other two are Avon and E.l.f. but Look by Bipa is the one I use the most and it is my favorite between these three brushes. Avon brush is right after Look by Bipa but I barely used E.l.f. brush.

E.l.f. last 50 % off haul

Few weeks ago E.l.f. had last 50% off, I knew I have to take that opportunity. That was my first e.l.f. order, but I spend so many time looking the products and it was hard to choose which products to order this time and which products I will put on hold. You can see on the picture above all the products I got: blush brush, blending brush, eye crease brush, blush and bronzer compact, face primer, eyeshadows and lip gloss. Beside the pictures I will quickly give you my opinion about the products.

First let's look brushes little bit closer. I got three brushes: blush brush, blending brush and eye crease brush. Eye crease brush is my favorite from these three brushes. I used it few times and I think it is pretty good, it is really easy to apply eyeshadow with it and it does the work very well. Other two brushes are not bad, I wish that blush brush is little bit bigger. 

Blush and bronzer compact is the product that I really like. I love the blush, it looks very pretty on my skin tone, perfect for every day use. Bronzer is little bit too dark for me, but I believe that I will be able to wear it  during the summer when my skin gets tanned a little bit.

Mineral infused face primer is the product that I was anticipating the most and after testing it few times I can say that I'm satisfy with the results. When I apply it my skin is really smooth and it keeps foundation longer on my face. 

I decided to try two eyeshadows Coffee Bean and Pebble. You can see swatch on picture below. The colors are very pretty but they are not very pigmented, especially Pebble.  

In the end I had to try at least one lip gloss, my choice was Minty Lip Gloss New York. The color is very nice, you can wear it alone if you want simple pink shine on your lips but I think that it is better in combination with other lip products. This one give nice finish touch.
