January nail art challenge: Circles

Guess what? I'm late with challenge posts once again. This time I have them prepared so hopefully I will post each every day :) This one's theme was Circles. Very simple, blue and white mani. 

I used China Glaze Snow, Maybelline Superpower Blue, Sinful Colors Athens and Maybelline Party Blue.

Maybelline BB Dream Fresh

I'm always on the watch for foundations / bb creams that can give me natural look with little bit of coverage. When I'm out running errands or just groceries shopping I don't want heavy makeup but I do want something to cover up my often tired face and pale skin. Something that can be good if I need a little help to look refreshed and something I can apply quickly. Most of the time I like to use my regular liquid foundation but I don't always have time to apply a lot of makeup and sometimes I prefer something subtle. With that being said  I decided to try Maybelline BB Dream Fresh. I've been using it for a while and most of the time I don't like it very much. I don't hate it but honestly it is not a product I would repurchase. After I use it up I will move on and forget about it. 

On the photo above ( click to enlarge ) you can see 8 benefits this BB cream should give you but to tell you the truth most of the time when I have BB Dream Fresh on my face I don't even see the difference with and without it. Not even that "my face but better " effect which is all I ask for. Mostly it looks like I applied moisturizer. The reason why I didn't put this product aside is that sometimes...I guess when I have a really bad day my face does look little bit better. On normal day it doesn't do anything, I have to mention that I don't have any major skin problems except dark dark circles under my eyes and pale skin. I have Light Skin tone which matches with my skin tone perfectly, too perfect I would say if I can't even see it on my face. This is definitely the first time that I have something like this, something with such small effect. You can look at the swatch bellow...if you can tell on the right side I blended the product...now you can see what I'm talking about.

Application is easy, you can blend the product without problem. Durability? Well I'm not sure what to say...if it doesn't make any difference on my face then it doesn't matter, right? The coverage is very light while the texture and smell are nice. It comes in a tube and it is easy to use it, there is 30 ml of product. 

In the end all I can say is Next please!

New in - September, October, November and December 2016

I've been going around this post for so long so now I have products from last four months to show you. Still, it is not huge amount of product for such a long time but there are few products here that I wanted for long time. If you look at the first photo you can see Catrice HD Liquid Coverage foundation which I wanted from the first time I saw it. Hopefully I will post my review soon. Also here are few nail polishes from my wish list: OPI Charmmy And Sugar, China Glaze Purple Panic, China Glaze Strawberry Fields Forever and Essence Better Then Gel top coat. 

Next I have two photos with Treacle Moon and Balea products. Shower Gels on the first:Cute Stasuma Smile and Pretty Rose Hearts. Two Balea shower gels Marsh-Mallow and Schoko Love are in different bottles then usual, I guess they are limited edition.

Balea often has cutest package and you know I can't resist them when I see them. So when I saw carnival collection I just had to get it even though I don't need another hand and body lotion. 

First product on the pic is Balea Melone liquid soap and this is something I can always buy without feeling guilty.

Here I have few different products. I have two dry shampoos, Aussie which I tried for the first time and sample of Batiste dry shampoo. Also here are two Aveo nail polish removers, Ebelin cotton pads, Maybelline BB Dream Fresh, Essence We Are Young ( click ) and OPI Pineapples Have Peelings Too ( click ).

And here it is...the most important item here...Givenchy Eaudemoiselle. Finally in my hands!! This was on my wish list for years! I love, love, love it!

Aveo Bali Lozus liquid soap, another soap here...we use them up quickly. These have new package which is little bit nicer then old package. I have two more Balea creams Fur Dich and Mit Liebe. I love these cute, little creams. I had every single one that came out in this line.

And the last photo is old but somehow I never posted it. I have my go to hair color from L'oreal and a brush but I still didn't use it so I can't say anything about it. Last product is a hair brush which I got  as a gift, unfortunately I don't know the brand but I can tell you it is great.

November nail art challenge: Weather

Today I'm here with quick post and quick mani. Today's theme for the challenge was Weather. My idea was to do something on every nail...so I have rain, grey cloud and a white cloud which was supposed to turn into sun on my pinky... but I forgot to take yellow nail polish from the box in my bedroom and kids are sleeping in there....so today is work with what you have kind of mani. Since I can't find it quietly I'm going to stick with clouds and have sun coming some other day.

November nail art challenge: Mermaid

After I finally finished September nail art challenge I'm just in time for November challenge. Again from the same Instagram account. I'm enjoying these challenges because without it I would probably never do nail art and I started to really miss it ,so this is great for me. Also, these challenges are amazing because there is only eight themes each month which is not impossible to do. Although I have to say September challenge was a challenge for real because it took me so much more time than I thought it would. But better late then never, right?

Now let's look at my first mani. I love it so much, it turn out better then I expected. The theme was Mermaid. All I actually did was apply base color (Essence Bella ) and applied different color dots. I love this so much that I want to do it in different colors as well.

September nail art challenge: Owls

I'm always looking for nail art challenges online, for some reason they are always hard to find. So when I found one yesterday I decided to do it. I'm little bit late but I'm gonna pretend that I found this on the beginning of September. Here is Instagram link for everyone who is interested in this challenge and you can look at some awesome manis. Also, this girl comes up with challenges often so I will keep my eye on it.

First theme was owls. Very simple. I already had nail polish on my nails and I just decided to draw owl on my accent nail since I wanted to start right away.

I will be quick about this new in post. I didn't get too many products and mostly they are nail polishes and body lotions / shower gels. Not super interesting but here it is.

China Glaze Passion For Petals and China Glaze Papa Don't Peach, Essence Orange Is The New Black, Essence You're One In A Melon, Maybelline City Smoke and a blush Essence My Heart Is Beating Like A Jungle Drum

Loreal Elseve Color Vive shampoo, Aveo Happy Melon shower gel, Balea Buttermilch liquid soap and Aveo nail polish remover.

More shower gels and one body lotion, these are from Balea.

I also got these mini hair shampoo and hair mask from Wella.

Again, body milk and Bebe and Fa shower gels. Now when my "no more buying shower gels" policy is gone I let myself loose.

More Aveo nail polish removers, these are the best! And another liquid soap.

Maybelline Color Show City Smoke

My latest buy is this beautiful grey nail polish, it is Maybelline Colors Show City Smoke. Completely opaque with 2 coats, has a gorgeous shiny finish but there is no shimmer. It applies easy and dries quickly. I love how City Smoke looks on it's own but I also love grey in combination with bright colors so those are the ways I will wear this beauty. I already tried it with pink top coat and it looks great.

I love the formula of Mayelline Color Show and I will check other colors for sure.

Maybelline Color Sensational Matte: Magnetic Magenta and Red Sunset

When I first saw Maybelline Color Sensational Matt lipsticks I knew they will have to be mine. The colors were beautiful and Maybelline lipsticks are among my favorites so I knew I can't go wrong with it. I picked up two colors Magnetic Magenta and Red Sunset. Mostly because I love bright lipsticks and they are usually my natural pick :)

Two lipsticks that I have are like I said very beautiful and bright. It is easy to apply them and they don't dry out my lips. They even feel like I have lip balm on my lips. Like any matte lipstick you have to make sure that your lips are in good state before you apply this lipstick because it is easy to see any flows. If your lips are dry make sure you moisturize them before applying these lipsticks.  

Both Magnetic Magenta and Red Sunset are long lasting, so they can survive if you eat and drink but as always it is best to reapply them after a while. If you you don't plan to eat or drink they will look great for about 4-5 hours, they will lose intensity after that but they will still look good.

The colors are truly gorgeous. Magnetic Magenta is bright magenta that can spice up any makeup look as well as Red Sunset. Red Sunset is not your classic red, it has coral red tone that is really pretty. I say perfect color for summer!

Maybelline White Splatter ( + Sally Hansen Pinch Of Punch )

I didn't bought a lot of nail polish last few months but the one I did bought was Maybelline Color Show White Splatter. White Splatter is a top coat with different size white and blue glitter, there is mostly hex glitter but also bar glitter. I love white glitter top coats, they look so cute with any color combo.

This time I used Sally Hansen Pinch Of Punch as a base color and I added one coat of White Splatter. As you can see there is nice amount of glitter and it is easy to apply it. Another plus side of Maybelline White Splatter is that it dries very fast. I can't wait for another color combination :)

New in - October, November and December 2015

After a while of no posts at all I will come back with new products that I got last three months. I will start with my favorite part - lipsticks. I got Essence Pink & Perfect and two Maybelline Color Sensational Matt that I wanted to try for a while. I have two shades: Red Sunset and Magnetic Magenta. Three new lipsticks and three true beauties. I also have new nail polish after a while, it is Maybelline Color Show White Splatter. For now there is no pic but hopefully I will be able to upload it later.

On second pic you can see three more products. First one is Hipp Mama Massage Oil Sensitive because I will be a mom once again :) and this was a little gift from my sister in law. Next are two Essence product Smile You Are Pretty hand cream which looks and smells very pretty! Last one is old favorite Essence All About Matt fixing compact powder. I also have few products that can fit into this category but I don't have pic to show you for now. They are Ebelin cotton pads, Dove Orginal deo spray and Afrodita hand cream Almond, which is amazing. I use it all the time, it smells amazing, it is moisturizing and all I need is really small amount of product!

Next are Batiste dry shampoo for dark and deep brown hair with hint of color. I can't say much because I still didn't try it. First I want to use up my current Batiste dry shampoo bottle. Here I have Biobaza micellar which I like very much. 

Next three pics are only shower gels. I've been keeping myself from buying new shower gels for a very long time and after I used up big part of my stash it  was time to get some new :) So this is what I got: Balea Vanille & Cocos, Balea Frozen Breeze and Balea Frost Flower. As always they smell and they look gorgeous!

Next are Bettina Barty gels which I bought for the first time. I still didn't tried them but they smell very nice! I also have Today lavender scented shower gel.

For the end I have some Treacle Moon shower creams. I always enjoy them and this time will probably be the same! I have Sweet Apple Hugs and mini edition with The Raspberry Kiss, One Ginger Morning and Warm Cinnamon Nights.

Maybelline Fit Me

It wasn't my plan to buy Maybelline Fit Me but I'm completely helpless when I see a discount on makeup. If it is something like Maybelline Fit Me I can't just pass by it. I'm always open to try new foundation. I bought it in winter but I made a mistake and bought it one shade too dark ( that is what happens when you only rushing and not looking ). So now when I have a tan it finally fits me ( hahah ).

Maybelline Fit Me comes in glass bottle with plastic cap and a pump which makes it easy to dose it. My favorite way to apply it is with stipple brush. It blends easily and lasts for whole day on my face. It covers very well, I would say this is medium coverage. If you don't have major skin problems it is all you need. If you need to you can build it up. The finish is a bit shiny even on my dry skin so everybody with oily skin should first try the sample. If you have dry skin you will get nice, dewy finish but if you are like me you will want to apply loose powder as well. Even though it is not too shiny I'm just not a fan.

Overall Maybelline Fit Me is a good product but honestly I can't say I'm very impressed with it. Just because I've tried better foundations ( Catrice for example. Half price and looks better on my face. Not to mention Revlon Colorstay which is in same price range but much better foundation. ) and I don't feel the need to repurchase it. I tried it, I will use it up but I'm not going back to it.
