Preview: Essence TE Merry Berry

New in - September 2015

After few collective new ins here is one with products that I got in September, which means that there is more then few products. Like old days haha. I will start with few gifts from my husband ( together for 10 years :D ). I got Burberry The Beat fragrance, Thierry Mugler Alien sample, Treacle Moon Iced Strawberry Dream and new phone case. What can I say he knows me very well :)))

Moving on. Here I have Aveo Liquid Soap, few Essence products: two I Heart Extreme mascaras ( 2 for 1...don't you love deals like that ),Hidden Garden nail polish and blushers; The Sunny Side Of Street, You Sweeten My Day and Pink me. It's been few months since I bought a blush but now I'm set for a while. I also have Batiste dry shampoo which I tried for the first time and amazing Tangle Teezer brush.

Last two products are Aussie Repair Miracle conditioner and Catrice FuchsCIA ( click here ). I wanted to try Aussie for a very long time and it is finally here. I tried it only once so far but my first impression is positive. We will see how will I feel about it after I test it little more.

Essence You Sweeten My Day

You Sweeten My Day from Essence Happy Girls Are Pretty trend edition is the blush I've been using lately. My first impression wasn't very good but I decided to keep wearing little bit more and finally I changed my mind and now I really like it. The reason why I didn't like it was that it was too light and I could barely see it on my face. After few days I decided to go into it with my brush little bit harder and I loved the result. It was still delicate but it looked very nice on my cheeks. You Sweeten My Day is the blush that looks best for everyday makeup, for some special occasions or going out it might be better to use something else.

First thing I thought when I saw You Sweeten My Day in store was that it is a highlighter but when I looked it closely I saw it was multi colored blush. I decided to buy it because I don't have anything like this in my stash. The blush contains two colors, both are very light but they look nice and radiant on my cheeks. It is good to mention that I have pale skin and I'm not sure how it would looked on darker shin tone, But definitely it is a good product that I will love to use, especially during fall / winter.

On pic bellow you can see my swatch. Two colors alone and mixed together. Not very bright but like I said looks really good on the cheeks.

Catrice FuchsCIA

In my enormous stash of pink nail polishes there is always a place for one more. When I saw Catrice FuchsCIA I just couldn't resist...and why would I when this is truly beautiful nail polish. Gorgeous fuchsia pink with loads of multicolored glitter. It is also easy to apply and it dries quickly, 2 coats are enough for full opacity. I have a feeling I will reach for it very often.

Empty #22

L'oreal Elvital Color Glanz shampoo - one more bottle is gone :)

Balea Melon Tango and Purple Kisses shower gels - usual part of my empties :) Both smell amazing and look beautiful, as always they are good quality and affordable.

Aveo Avocado & Sheabutter liquid soap - product I buy very often, I only change the scents.

L'oreal Casting Creme Gloss 535 hair color - another product that I've been using for years. I want to try something else but this one is too good to change it :)

Lush Happy Hippy - Usually I'm not the biggest fan of citrus scents but I love them in the summer. They can really be refreshing in summer heath. Happy Hippy is very nice product, good quality and strong scent. Even though it was my go to shower gel this summer I will not buy it again...Just because citrus scent are not my thing and no matter how good they are I will hardly find one that I would repurchase. I will rather try something different. If you want to find more about it, here is my post.

I Love... Vanilla & Almond shower cream and body butter - I already said few things about I love... products here and here. I tried few I Love... shower creams before and I wasn't very impressed with them. They do look cute and smell really nice but other then that they are nothing special. Same thing is with I Love...Vanilla & Almond shower cream. On the other hand body butter in same scent is amazing. It absorbs very quickly and it makes my skin so soft. Also, it has shimmer which I love in summer time. Another great thing about this body butter was that it is mini size which makes it perfect for traveling. After Vanilla & Almond body butter I'm definitely interested in other I Love... body butters.

Laura Vandini Pearl body shimmer - This is one of my favorite shimmering body lotions / creams / butters. Nice neutral smell, easy application and beautiful glow on your skin. Product that I would buy again.

Essence The Sunny Side Of The Street

First thing I have to say in this post is that I lost track of Essence trend editions. I used to know exactly which one is in drugstores, which one is next and most important what I need to check out and buy. Last week I saw two TEs in my local drugstore for the first time ever...After looking at them for a while I decided to get a blush from both of them. So today I will show you a blush from Urbaniced called The Sunny Side Of The Street and in a few days I will show you my swatches of You Sweeten My Day from Happy Girls Are Pretty.

Essence already had color splashed blushers but I never bought any of them so now is the that I have one :) The Sunny Side Of The Street is combination of two shades of pink. Together they give your cheeks nice, refreshing look, great for everyday makeup. It applies and blends nicely, there is little bit of shimmer too but not to much.

The package is plastic but it keeps the blush well protected, it contains 8 g of product.

In the end, I'm glad that I bought The Sunny Side Of The Street because these little things can make a girl happy and hopefully I will use it a lot. This is not a must have item ( at least for now ) but definitely great to have around.
